Caregiving For Aging Parents

February 8 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

By the end of this decade, 74 million Americans will be over the age of 65, including every member of the Baby Boom generation. As adult children, caring for aging parents can be both a deeply rewarding and profoundly challenging experience. This impactful evening event is designed to provide essential guidance and support for individuals facing the complexities of this milestone in life. Join us as we welcome local speakers during this seminar, followed by a book signing from the author.

Andriana Mendez, Founder of Sensational Seniors™ Workshops by Custom Moving & Hauling, will provide insights on:
• How to help create a healthy and happy living environment at home for your loved one
• Where to initiate the process of dispersing excessive belongings and how to create a memorable experience out of it
• What other options you have for caregiving assistance

Dave Iverson, filmmaker, former KQED broadcaster, and author of “Winter Stars,” a book about an elderly mother, an aging son, and life’s final journey will discuss:
• The growing eldercare crisis and where we stand going forward
• When it happens to you, how to manage emotions and reactions
• Where to lean in for help and sanity while caregiving

This is a free event, drinks and snacks will be provided.
Event sponsorship TBD.
